Activated Nuts

Ingredients

1 Cup cashew nuts

1 Cup almond nuts

1 Cup brazil nuts

1 Cup hazelnuts

1 Tbs sea salt

Water for soaking

Method

Place your nuts in a bowl and fill with filtered water. Each nut has a different soaking time so ensure you use different bowls.

The rule of thumb is that the harder the nut the longer the soaking time.

I soaked the almonds and hazlenuts for 12 hours, brazil nuts for 8 and the cashews for 4 hours.

Once your nuts are soaked, rinse them off, pat them dry and pop them into your dehydrator for around 12 hours on the low setting.
